Some cars are bought and sold. Others are handed down. In this short teaser, Richie Napp passes the keys to the "Surf Bird," a car with plenty of miles and, one suspects, plenty of stories.
A teaser has one job: leave people wanting more. As editor, I kept the cut lean and let the handover unfold at an easy pace, revealing just enough to hold attention. I also mixed the sound, and with a car at the centre of things that mattered a great deal: the clunk of a door, the jangle of keys, the engine catching.
