Ethereal Figures: Visual Narratives for Carnale Magazine
This editorial animation was created to evoke a haunting sense of mystery and surrealism, blending abstract motion design with an emotive narrative. Developed as part of a visual feature for Carnale Magazine, the piece uses Cinema 4D and After Effects to depict ethereal, distorted silhouettes in a dreamlike haze.
Through the use of deliberate blurring, glitch effects, and soft distortion, the animation blurs the line between reality and imagination. The figures, shrouded in abstraction, align with Carnale Magazine's ethos of exploring identity, sensuality, and contemporary storytelling.
Techniques: The project employed procedural techniques, ambient lighting, and compositing workflows to craft a minimalist yet cinematic atmosphere, capturing the avant-garde aesthetic Carnale Magazine is known for.
